EDGAR HAMA BARKER

Edgar H. "Boogie" Barker, 79, died April 14, 2010, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Barker was a native of Fort Pierce, FL and was a heavy equipment operator for construction site preparation.

He was a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Ft. Pierce, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and loved to fish.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Barker of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Byron Barker and Daniel (Patrisha) Barker and Brett Barker all of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Luther Barker, Malcolm Barker, Eugene Barker and James Barker all of Fort Pierce, FL and Roy Barker and Curtis Barker of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Joyce Morton of Lake City, FL, Beverly Black and Betty Meyer both of Fort Pierce, FL; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Barker's memory to Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 2607 South 19th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34982-5727.

Visitation will be Monday, April 19th from 5 to 8:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A Service will be held on Tuesday, April 20th at 10:00 A.M. at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at South Florida VA National Cemetery.
