Dorothy E. Ruhe

Dorothy E. Ruhe, 74, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully August 4, 2024. 

Dorie was born to Albert and Agnes (Patterson) Rhoades on September 3, 1949 in California. After graduating from college with her bachelor’s in marine biology, she became a clinical laboratory scientist. She worked as a Laboratory Manager for John Muir health for 30 years. 

Dorie loved being a member of the Girl Scouts of America, American Association of Clinical Pathologists.

Dorie was an avid reader, loved traveling, playing bridge, and water aerobics. 

Dorie is survived by her beloved husband, Craig, loving daughters, Sara Mercer Ruhe and Deborah Patterson Ramirez. She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren, Jacob, Kiera and Matthew. She is survived by her brothers, Donald Scott Rhoades, and Barry Kent Rhoades. She was predeceased by her brother, James Wesley Rhoades and parents, Albert and Agnes.

Services will be held privately by her family.
