Dorothy Anna Lincoln Gorden Adams Morton
Dorothy Anna Lincoln Gorden Adams Morton, 86, went to be with her Lord on September 23, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Morton was born on September 13, 1938 to Joseph & Emma Lincoln in Delanco, New Jersey and moved to Fort Pierce in 1952.
Dorothy graduated from Dan McCarty High in 1957. She was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Fort Pierce and of The Nazarene Church in Port St. Lucie. She was a teller/bookkeeper for the former Florida Bank, now Wells Fargo, for 13 years then bookkeeper for 11 ½ years at Indian River Oil. She enjoyed painting figurines, embroidering and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (husband, Marc) Mallow of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Luke & Mackenzie Mallow and Jill Mallow. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Gorden, John H. Adams and Pastor Charles Morton and brother, Joseph Lincoln.
She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the First Church of the Nazarene.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 611 Gardenia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982. Burial will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at White City Cemetery.
