Doris Jean Fee Tyler

Our sweet mother, Doris Jean Fee Tyler, passed away at 97 on Nov. 23, 2025, at Serenade Sonata Vero Beach.

Doris was born in San Antonio, TX, then moved to Pennsylvania as one of nine children. As a young woman in the 1950s, she traveled to Washington, D.C., New Orleans, Houston, Denver and Los Angeles working as a telephone operator. She met Bill Tyler in L.A. and married in Phoenix, AZ in 1956. The newlyweds moved to Titusville, FL to be part of the space program and to raise two children, Bill and Beth. Doris worked as a lunch lady, a librarian, and receptionist in the county health office. After retirement, Bill and Doris moved to Apopka, FL, then to Hendersonville, NC. After Bill passed in 2010, Doris moved to Vero Beach, FL, near her son.

Doris is survived by son, Bill and daughter-in-law Karen of Fort Pierce, FL; and daughter, Beth and granddaughter Layne of Holland, MI.
