Donald R. Porter, 88, died December 2, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Porter was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. He was born on September 19, 1936 to George Jesse & Ivy Marie Porter.

Donald graduated from Dan Mc Carty High School. He attended The University of Florida where he played football and baseball. He also played semi-pro baseball. He enjoyed football and baseball, was an avid treasure hunter, as well as a history buff.

Survivors include his son, Dan Porter of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Jean (Butch) Lowe of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Kathleen (Brian) Trappy, Alexandria (Marshall) Fulton, and Tyler Lowe; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Jesse and Ivy Marie Porter, wife, Betty Jo Porter, and brother, Jessee Wayman Porter.
