Donald Laird, Sr.

Donald Laird, Sr., 79, passed away on July 27, 2026, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born on October 4, 1946, in Staten Island, New York, Donald later made Fort Pierce, Florida, his home. He dedicated 22 years of service to the United States Postal Service before retiring.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Laird of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Donald Laird, Jr. of Pinellas Park, Florida; daughters, Kathryne Delainey of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Amanda Peregory of South Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Esposito of Newport, Karlie Laird, Michael Laird, Jr., Elizabeth Laird, Victoria Laird, Hailie Laird, Brooklyn Laird, Ryan Delainey, and Sam Delainey; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Pilger, Olivia Esposito, Julia Esposito, Vincent Esposito, and Navy Esposito.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Carlino.
