Donald Albert Hill, 88, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1937, in Seaford, Delaware, to the late Marion and Louise Hill.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, dedicating years of his life to military service. Following his honorable discharge, he continued his strong work ethic through a career with the United States Postal Service, from which he also retired.
A man of many interests, Don was an avid bowler who found joy and camaraderie on the lanes. He was also a skilled and thoughtful investor, known for his keen sense of financial insight. Don brought joy wherever he went—always cheerful, kind, and quick with a joke. He was deeply loved, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara D. Hill; his children, Donna Hill Ferguson (Paul), Cheryl Hill Wright (Wayne), and Michael D. Hill (Deya); his grandchildren, Jason Hill, Eric Wright, Kevin Wright, Lisa Wright, and Lauren Ferguson; and his great-grandchildren, Savannah Hill, Eli Montalvan, Sofie Hill, and Bryson Joell. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry Hill and Alan Hill.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Wilkerson.
Don will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the steady, thoughtful way he lived his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity in Don's name.
