David W. Burrows, 79, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on July 2, 2026. He was born on July 16, 1946, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to Edward C. and Dorothy A. Burrows.

Dave was a man of quiet passions and lifelong curiosity. He had a deep appreciation for photography, history, and reading, always eager to learn and capture the beauty of the world around him. His love of photography began early in life, leading him to attend photography school in New York City. Before beginning a career in retail sales, Dave enjoyed working as a freelance photographer, specializing in portraits, nature, commercial work, and special events. Through his lens, he preserved countless moments and found joy in the art of storytelling through photographs.

Dave was also drawn to the spirit of the American West. He admired cowboy and ranch culture and had a special affection for animals, particularly horses, dogs, and wolves. Whether immersed in a good history book, exploring the outdoors with a camera, or simply spending time with animals, Dave found happiness in life's simple and meaningful moments.

He is lovingly remembered by his two nieces, Amy K. Beath of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Elizabeth A. Cunningham of Port St. Lucie, Florida, both daughters of his brother, Ted. He will also be remembered fondly by extended family and friends whose lives he touched through his kindness, creativity, and gentle spirit.

Dave was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward C. and Dorothy A. Burrows, and by his cherished brother, Edward L. Burrows.

David will be remembered for his artistic eye, his thoughtful nature, and the genuine appreciation he had for history, nature, and the enduring bond between people and animals. His memory will live on in the photographs he created, the stories he shared, and the love he gave to those fortunate enough to know him.
