David P. Fritz

August 19, 1963 — May 5, 2026

Sebastian, Florida

David P. Fritz, born August 19, 1963, in Woodbury, NJ passed away on May 5, 2026, leaving behind a family and circle of friends who will deeply miss his warmth, humor and no nonsense tell it like it is personality.

David attended West Deptford High School. Growing up in his father’s hardware store, David discovered a passion and skill for fine carpentry. Through his skill and dedication he ran his own business for years and found great pride and accomplishment in bringing projects to life, and in the smiles and satisfaction of his customers — many of whom became lifelong friends.

David found peace near the ocean shores along the east coast, where he felt most at home. He had a love for life, an easy smile, and a gift for making others laugh with his quick sarcasm and humor. He was always happiest when surrounded by the people he loved and seeing them smile in return.

Aside from his family he was passionate about his Philadelphia sports remaining a dedicated fan to the Eagles and Phillies (no matter the losses). He loved grilling and learning to master his smoker. All of these hobbies were only made better for him when surrounded by those he loved.

He is survived by his longtime spouse, Victoria Steeley; his daughter, Joelle Fritz; his grandson, Jordan Fritz; his mother, Barbara Read; his siblings, Lourie Fritz and Charles Fritz III; and his nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Milton Fritz II, and sister Kathy Fritz.

David’s life came to an end far too soon, and his absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. He will be remembered for his kind heart, talented hands, laughter, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
