Obituary

Connor Ryan Whitehead, 21, passed away on May 31, 2026, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Born on June 24, 2004, in Stuart, Florida, Connor was the beloved son of Patrick and Karen Whitehead. From an early age, Connor demonstrated a strong desire to help others, a passion that led him to a career in emergency services. He proudly served with the St. Lucie County Fire District.

Connor earned his associate’s degree, EMT certification, and Fire Academy training from Indian River State College. He furthered his education by completing the Paramedic Program at Treasure Coast Medical & Fire Institute

Beyond his profession, Connor enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved playing computer games with friends and creating lasting memories with those closest to him. Known for his caring heart, kind spirit, and loving nature, Connor was a true blessing to everyone who knew him.

Connor is survived by his parents, Patrick and Karen Whitehead of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his sister, Jennifer Whitehead of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Whitehead of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his maternal grandmother, Carol Tremper of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his aunt and uncle, Tracey and Anthony Fitzpatrick of Fort Pierce, Florida; his uncle and aunt, Keith and Ann Marie Tremper of Georgia; his aunt and uncle, Mary and Paul Duncan; and his cousins, Taylor Hengstler, Austin Hengstler, Josh Hengstler, Connie Goodwin, Joshua Tremper, Amy Tremper, Allison Tremper, Julie Tremper, Phoenix Tremper, and Chris Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Whitehead, and his maternal grandfather, Raymond Tremper.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Church in Fort Pierce, Florida.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, coworkers, and all whose lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation in Connor’s memory, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Christian Apologetics Research Ministry (CARM), a ministry that was meaningful to him and reflected his faith and values.
