Cole Mason Chibas, born on October 27, 2016, passed away on July 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and unforgettable memories far beyond his nine years.

Though only nine years old, Cole lived with the heart of someone far beyond his years. Brave, tough, and full of adventure, he was the kind of kid who wasn’t afraid to get dirty, cast a fishing line, or hop on a dirt bike. A true country boy through and through, he found his greatest joy outdoors, where every day brought a new adventure.

Cole attended Weatherbee Elementary School and was part of the St. Simon’s Church family. Known for his bright smile, fearless spirit, and unforgettable personality, he brought joy wherever he went. Whether he was making people laugh, exploring the outdoors, or spending time with the people he loved most, he left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Cole is survived by his loving parents, Christopher and Codi Chibas; his siblings, Christopher, Ciara, and Cori; his grandparents, Dorothy Harrington; Guido and Deanna Chibas; Matt and Charlotte Stahlberg; and Tony and Michelle Crouch; great-grandmother, Linda Crouch of Fort Pierce, FL; his aunts and uncles, Philipe and Trish Chibas, Darrell and Danielle Chibas, Austin Crouch, Carmen Curl, Brian Player, Chris and Mary Player, Troy Crouch, and Kappy and Breanna Krueger; and his beloved cousins, Brayden and Brianna Schoch, Lainey and Anabel Chibas, Everett and Lucy Chibas, Cayden and Carter Player, Zander and JP Player, Kinsley, Kelsey, and Kappy Jr. Krueger, and Taylor, Tyler, and Ty Crouch. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all who were blessed to know him. His bravery, kind heart, and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten. Cole will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
