Charlotte Christine Alligood

Charlotte Christine Alligood, 87, died August 20, 2026 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Alligood was born on April 8, 1939 in Miami, Florida and made Fort Pierce her home in 1946.

A devoted wife, mom, and grandma, family was the centerpiece of her life. She loved to cheer on the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Gators. Outside of football season, she enjoyed the excitement of playing bingo and trying her luck at the slot machines. She will be remembered for her generosity and fun spirit, and the great times she shared with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Wilson of Fort Pierce, FL, Denise (Tracy) Wood of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, David Wilson of Houston, TX, Malorie (Zander) Reilly of Gainesville, FL, Ethan Wood of Miami, FL; brothers, Bill (Letha) Fowler of Vero Beach, FL, Mack (Kathy) Fowler of Fort Pierce; sister, Mary Alice (Tom) Christopher of Shalimar, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Alligood, father, John Earl Fowler, Sr., mother, Eleanor Love, brother, John Earl Fowler Jr, sister, JoAnn Fowler.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 1:00-2:30 PM with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
