Charles E. “Papa” Medlin, 83, passed away on February 23, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Medlin was born in Wayne County, North Carolina and resided in St. Lucie County.
Charles was a Staff Sergeant E-6 for the U.S. Army. He was a farmer, preacher, and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed cooking, NASCAR, watching western movies, and spending time with his family and great grand doggy, Chi Chi.
Survivors include his wife, Monika Medlin of Fort Pierce, FL; children, Tammy Thomas of Fort Pierce, FL, Anthony (Arlene) Anderson of Fort Pierce, FL, Stacy-Max (Kurt) Anderson of Jensen Beach, FL, Marie (Cathy) Stott of North Carolina and Sheryl (Joey) Faulk of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jayme Thomas, Jessie Thomas, Mary Stott, Heather Stott, and Thomas (Jessica) Faulk; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Kaylee, Madison, Paris, Austin, William, Jenna, and Landon; great-great-grandchildren, Grayson and ChiChi. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Lucy Mae Medlin, brothers, Franklin, Nathan, James “JC” and daughter, Deborah Jean.
He was a beloved husband, father and Papa who will be dearly missed by all.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
