Ms. Benes was born in Elmhurst, New York and moved to Fort Pierce 30 years ago.
She retired from Pan American Airlines as an accountant. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and loved to cook.
Survivors include her niece, Stefanie Wappett of Queensbury, NY and nephew, Michael Benes of Atlanta, GA.
