Carolyn L. Tardiff

Carolyn L. Tardiff, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 16, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Tardiff was born in Ozark, Missouri and moved to Florida over 50 years ago coming from Port Huron, Michigan.

Carolyn was the Executive Director of Wayside House in Delray Beach, Florida. She also worked at the Palm Beach Institute and was a pioneer in Women’s Recovery. Carolyn’s passion was reuniting mothers and their children. She loved traveling all over the United States with her husband but most of all being a grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Raymond L. Tardiff of Fort Peirce, FL; son, Raymond J. Tardiff of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Pamela L. Castro of Virginia; stepdaughter, Tammy Irizarry of Jacksonville, FL; brother, William Mitchell of North Dakota; and grandson, Joshua R. Castro.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
