Carolyn was born June 11, 1943 to parents Gilbert Pipes and Mary Michelwicz in Quincy, Massachusetts, before the family made the move to Florida in 1945. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling and offshore fishing.
Carolyn leaves behind a loving husband of 58 years, O.G. Ryals; son, Scott Ryals; daughter, Wendy Ryals; as well as her brother, John Pipes.
