Carol Theresa Woods

Carol Theresa (Crock) Woods, age 66, passed away on January 1, 2026, in her home in Port St. Lucie, FL, surrounded by family & friend. She was born on February 11, 1959, in Norwood, MA to Joseph & Margaret Crock.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Margaret Crock, sisters, Janet Crock & Elizabeth Berniche & brother, Steven Crock.

Carol is survived by her sister, Mary Fontaine. Long time friend Richard Woods, a daughter Lynn Hodgson, a son Richard Woods Jr. & his wife Hayley, granddaughters Alea & Scarlett, grandson Xavier & one great grandson Amari & nieces & nephews.

Carol loved her family & friends. She enjoyed driving fast, loud music, beaches & floating in the ocean at Martha’s Vineyard Island. She also enjoyed quiet times in her home. She was an avid pioneer in the research & development of fiber optic scopes for the medical industry & traveled coast to coast teaching others how to build & repair them.

A memorial service will be provided by Haisley Tribute Center. You may join us in paying respects to Carol at Haisley Tribute Center at 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984 on January 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The service will be at 3:00 pm.

There will be an additional service, burial & celebration of life in Holland, MA later this year.
