Carol Konecny Gallick September 11, 1948 – October 16, 2025
Carol Konecny Gallick, 77, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Gallick was born on September 11, 1948, to John and Anna Konecny in Binghamton, New York. She graduated from Binghamton Central High School and later worked for the St. Lucie County School Board as a data specialist. Carol was also an active member of the E.A.S.L., where she served on the executive board.
Carol was known for her kind spirit, sharp wit, and love of life. She was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed collecting frogs, a hobby that brought her much joy over the years. Above all, she cherished her family deeply and took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John Michael Gallick of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, LeAnne Carangelo and Jean Marie Bernards, both of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, John Jay Gallick of McMinnville, OR; son-in-law, Jim Carangelo; and daughter-in-law, Kim Hyland; sisters, Helena Bradley of Binghamton, NY and Annie Tierney of Fishkill, NY; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rita J. Hutchinson and Betty Kratchovil; brother, Jimmy Konecny; parents, Anna and John Konecny; and in-laws, Nellie and John Gallick.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Carol’s honor.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00–2:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
