Carl C. Wise

Carl C. Wise, 81, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, in Vero Beach, Florida.
Born on February 18, 1944, in Mobile, Alabama to Vernon and Dorothy Wise, Carl spent his later years in Fort Pierce, where he enjoyed the sunshine and the company of his beloved family. A lifelong outdoorsman and skilled handyman, Carl had a deep love for gardening, restoring old cars, and building with his own two hands—including the home he lived in.
His adventurous spirit was formed early in life while traveling the country with his family during childhood. Carl went on to lead a life full of hard work and dedication.
Carl worked as a supervisor in Valdez Alaska on the Pipeline in 1976. Carl worked in Nassau Bahamas on The Nassau Beach Hotel as an Insulator Supervisor. Carl worked in Cuba, Guantanamo Bay also doing insulation. Carl worked and retired from Turkey Point Power Plant in St. Lucie County as a skilled insulator with the Local 60 insulator union making friends and Union Brothers every where he went. His Union Brothers were always important to him.
Carl is survived by his wife, Eileen Wise; daughters, Wendy Lounds (Andrew Podoloff) of Fort Pierce, FL, and Lisa (Mark Avery) Fulwood of Bell, FL; grandchildren, Sy, Lana, Cody, Tori, Landon, and Camdon; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Amelia, Addilyn, Wren, and Reia. He is also survived by his sisters, Charlotte Teems of Eustis, FL, and Linda Blake of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Wise.
