In Loving Memory of Carl Raymond Haselgrove
December 4, 1946 – October 14, 2023
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Raymond Haselgrove, a devoted husband, loving father, Papa, brother and a man who left an indelible mark of faith on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Lurae Haselgrove, children, Christy (Zane) Lowery and Chrystal (Aaron) Netherton, grandchildren, Haylee (Sam) Adams, Hunter Netherton, Joshua, Moriah, Jacob, and Abigail Lowery, sister Judy Haselgrove and brother Mike (Kathy) Haselgrove. His legacy lives on through his family.
Raymond served his country proudly in the Army. Defending our freedom in Vietnam as a paratrooper and forward observer, he was awarded a Purple Heart. He continued serving and supporting his veteran brothers through the years.
In 1984, Raymond surrendered his life to the Lord, and from that moment forward he became a beacon of God's love and grace. His commitment to raising his family in the light of the Lord's teachings was evident in the love and strength they share. Raymond’s home is a sanctuary of faith, where our family gathers often glorifying the Lord in all circumstances.
A man of the woods, Raymond found solace and spiritual connection in the outdoors, surrounded by God's magnificent creation. It is fitting that the Lord called him home from the place he held so deer.
As we remember with joy a beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend, we take comfort in the words he lived by:
Romans 10:9 “if you confess with your mouth The Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God has raised him from the dead you will be saved.”
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to GraceWay Village. 1780 Hartman Rd. Ft Pierce FL 34947.
