Benjamin T. “Ben” Smith, Jr., 74, died April 19, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Smith was born in Harrison, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ben enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and piddling with things.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Giddens of Orlando, FL; sisters, Helen (Bill) Green, Rose Neill, and Cindy (Johnny) Barnhill all of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Edward (Joy) Smith of Georgia; nieces and nephews, Amy (Pat) Engle, Anna (Trent) Stewart, Tina (Johnny) Beasley, Edward Smith, Jr., Ed Green, Joe (Ann) Green, Lisa Green, Cindy Ann (Danny) Barber, Kim Hines, Andrew Evans, Ally Mock, JT Beasley, Nick Barber, Zack Barber, Brooke Hines and Wesley Hines. He was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Smith Sr and mother Rosemary Smith and brother, Charlie Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
