Anthony "Tony" S. Cocilova

Anthony “Tony” S. Cocilova, 87, passed away peacefully in Port Saint Lucie, Florida on February 3, 2024, with his loving wife, Marti, by his side.

Tony was born on February 19, 1936, in Rochester, New York to Anthony and Josephine Cocilova. A veteran of the United States Marine Corp., Tony enjoyed a successful 30-year career with Artco Industrial Laundry in Rochester, New York. After retirement, Tony and Marti moved to Savannah Club in Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 2000.

He was an avid card player and always enjoyed dinners with family and friends. Tony loved travelling and he and his dear Marti travelled the world together for over 60 years.  We will always cherish the rowdy late night family game nights playing Texas Holdem, Phase 10 and UNO for hours.  

Tony will be greatly missed, and we are comforted he is now reunited with Anthony Jr. and John L. Cocilova. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marti (Goodman); sons James (Tammy) Cocilova of Fort Mill, SC; Lynn (Tim) McMurry of Hawaii, Don (Karen) Cocilova of Greece, New York; Rod (Tracey) Bishop of Zephyrhills, Florida; daughter Tammy (Doug) Woodworth of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tony was predeceased by his sons, Anthony and John Cocilova. 

In March, we will gather for a celebration of life at Savannah Club, Fairways Clubhouse 3492 Crabapple Drive in Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34952 on March 9, 2024 from 1PM to 4PM followed by a graveside memorial service in Rochester, New York in the spring.
