Ann Joaquin, born February 20, 1959, in Kearny, New Jersey, to Albert and Anna Joaquin, passed away on January 30, 2026, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Ann moved to Port St. Lucie in 1988, where she built a life centered around family, hard work, and meaningful connections with others. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family.
Ann was the owner and operator of a garage door business, where her strong work ethic and commitment to customer service helped her build lasting relationships. She also enjoyed working with people throughout her years in numerous retail stores, where her friendly personality and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on those she met. Outside of work, Ann had a deep love for travel. She enjoyed exploring new places, making memories on family trips, and experiencing different cultures whenever she had the opportunity.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 30 years, Bruce Kinkade of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son, James (Jennifer) Monahan of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her daughter, Kristin (Jeremy) Breeden of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Devin, Brandon, Julian, Jersey, Jaxon, Aria, and Oakley, all of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and her sister, Virginia Van Dooren of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Joaquin; her daughter, Jaclyn Kinkade; and her siblings, Helen Kirse and Albert Joaquin Jr.
Ann will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong work ethic, her love of travel, and the kindness she showed to everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
