Mr. Hartson was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1985 coming from Miami, Florida.
He retired from Case Power & Equipment in 1984.
Survivors include his daughters, Joanne A. Jackson of Ft. Pierce, FL and Lauren P. Harrs of West Palm Beach, FL; former wife, Marilyn R. Hartson of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 granddaughters; 1 great-granddaughter; 2 great grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34977.
