Alfreda McLaughlin Spinelli

Alfreda McLaughlin Spinelli, 86, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Spinelli was born on March 23, 1939, in Tracadie, New Brunswick, Canada to Alfred and Amanda McLaughlin. After raising her kids in New Jersey and  she made Florida her home in the late 90’s to enjoy her retirement years near the beach. A devoted member of the Church of Christ, Alfreda lived a life filled with joy, creativity, and companionship. She loved dancing, playing bridge, 500 Rummy, Checkers, and Backgammon, and she found great happiness in making ceramics and sharing her creations with others.

Alfreda’s greatest love was her family. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce (Lou) Cevetello and their children, Louis Cevetello, Jr. and Vincent Cevetello; her daughter, Gale Furtak and her children, Devon Buck and Robert Furtak; and her daughter, Sharon (Billy) Robie and their son, Billy Robie. 2 sisters; one brother; She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bartlo; her grandson, Michael Furtak; two sisters; and two brothers.
