Alfred “Al” Holfelder
Alfred “Al” Holfelder, 88, passed away on September 11, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Al later made his home in St. Lucie West after living in Boca Raton and Jupiter, Florida. He attended Villanova University and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Al was the owner of Tropical Textiles in West Palm Beach.
Al lived life with great passion and energy. He was an enthusiastic athlete who enjoyed tennis, senior softball, and running marathons. He was a lifelong fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and a devoted Villanova University Wildcat.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Holfelder of St. Lucie West, FL; sisters, Muriel (George) Warren of Bradenton, FL, and Louise (Steve) Kramer of Wading River, NY; nieces, Suzie Holfelder of Prairie Village, KS, Sandi Warren of Houston, TX, Meghan (Damon) Gallo of Wading River, NY; nephew, Devon (Rachel) Kramer of Annandale, VA; as well as beloved grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Muriel (Webel) Holfelder.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
