Alfred Thomas Corse age 93, passed away at Tradition’s Cleveland Clinic Hospital, PSL, FL, on 8/9/23. Al was the oldest of four children of the late Bernard W. Corse and the late Margaret Corse. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Steven Corse (Dr. Michele Oswald), Brian Corse (Phila Broich); his daughters, Beverly Stanko, Barbara Wright, Jeanne Kovalik, Karen Santucci, Colleen Hageman, Stacy Cameron; his in laws Dennis O’Neill (Susan), Kathleen Pedrigi (Robert) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Eileen Corse (O’Neill), his second wife Sonia Corse (Cameron), his two brothers Edward Corse and Father Bernard Corse, J.J. And his sister Peggy Murrihy (Thomas).
He grew up in Chicago and attended Gage Park High School. He was in the Navy for two years as a Sea Bee on the Island of Guam. He married Eileen on 1/6/1951 in San Francisco, Ca upon his return from Guam he was employed by Johnson Control as a Pipefitter from Local 597 in Chicago, IL. He was a Boy Scout Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor for Troop 410 Scottsdale neighborhood of Chicago. He was a golfer, a pinochle player, a talented gardener, and a coin and stamp collector. He married Sonia Cameron on 9/3/88.
After retirement he moved to Port St. Lucie Florida with his wife Sonia. Al was a special person who helped out wherever he could. He was a two-time cancer survivor. He will be sadly missed and will always had a place in our hearts.
