Yvette Duhalde

October 9, 1936 — August 13, 2018

Yvette Duhalde, 81, of Ft. Pierce, Florida passed away on August 13, 2018. Yvette was born on October 9, 1936, in a small town in Chile, called Rio Bueno. She was an identical twin, with many brothers and sisters. Her natural beauty, and love of nature and animals, took root in Chile, and was like a flame that could never be extinguished.

“A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.” Matthew 12:20

The little house on stilts beckons, come, come, come, it is shabby, yet lovely, so come, come, come…
What little I have I will share with you…if you can only understand my way of loving…unconventional…
It is unique, rare, toughened, saddened but real…
When I was a child I lost hope, but yet, I loved with a fierce passion, even as age stole my beauty and grace…
I worked tirelessly to save animals and horses who were abandoned…I understood the plight perhaps more than you know…especially after Hurricane Andrew…
Bobby Wills and Felipe breathed life into my existence…I learned to rely on them…
But yet, I was forever watching that front door, hoping for more…maybe…maybe
Always looking for my heart’s delight in romance novels, lost in the world of chivalry…
Maybe…maybe…life would surprise me…

Arlette, I am home with you now…I longed for you after you were gone with the wind, and life became unbearable…
If there was a God, He would surely give my sister back, or bring me to her…

My finest boys… let all sadness be forgotten… I have found true love at last…In the arms of Him who rescued me in mercy…and breathed life into my broken body…

Please remember all I taught you; to rescue the doggies and cats, and to love nature…to speak for the lost even when you yourself are still finding the way…
One day we will be family again, until then my lovely sons, farewell…

“Yvette, we are all waiting to love on you again…please be in peace…Marque & Therese, Your Enzo, Eddie & Nancy & the Boys, Max & Haley & Family, Alfonso, Orlando, & Uncle Natalio Forever.”

Donations may be made in Yvette’s honor to http://dogsandcatsforever.com/donate/ to help continue her life’s passion and tireless hope, that all doggies will have a good home.
