William A. Patterson, Sr., 87, passed away on July 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by family in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mr. Patterson was born in Boalsburg, PA on September 9, 1934. He resided in Pennsylvania for 46 years, then relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida for 8 years and retired to Live Oak, Florida for the last 33 years.

Mr. Patterson was a Veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was an extremely loving husband, father, pappy, and great-pappy. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Berniece E. Patterson who he married on July 29th 1956. Son, William A. Patterson, Jr. of Live Oak, FL. Daughter, Brenda A. (John) O’Bryan of Port Matilda, PA. Son, Bruce D. (Wanda) Patterson of Port St. Lucie, FL. Son, Brad A. Patterson of Live Oak, FL. Daughter-in-law, Kelly Patterson of New York. Grandchildren, Joy Hawn of Pennsylvania, Krystal Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL, Dalton Patterson of Okeechobee, FL, Elexix Patterson of Live Oak, FL, Kaleb Patterson of Live Oak, FL, Brent Patterson, Brooke Patterson, and Chanel Patterson all of New York and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Patterson, Sr., mother, Teresine Kimport Patterson, son, Robert J. Patterson, granddaughter, Paige Patterson, sisters, Lucille Lucas and Virginia Bachelor, and brother, John D. Patterson, Jr.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm with a service to follow at 12:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
