Walton C. Jack

Walton C. Jack, 82, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on February 10, 2018.

Mr. Jack was born on August 24, 1935 in Kingston Jamaica.
He moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1986 then relocated to Port Saint Lucie, Florida coming from New York.

Walton attended the Friends College where he graduated with General Certificate O-levels. During his years in Jamaica he worked with the Jamaica Telephone Company, after which he migrated to the United States. He attended the New York Business School where he received a Cost Accounting Diploma. He further went on to C.W. Post College of Real Estate in Greenvale, Long Island and became a certified Real Estate Broker and Appraisal.

Walton worked many jobs; in 1966 he worked as a supervisor for Allied Stores Marketing Import Tariff after which he went on to work for Brook Reality in Freeport New York as a Broker/Salesman. In 1986 he was employed with the Metropolitan Transit Authority as a Bus Operator. Upon arriving in Florida he was employed with the Airport Limousine Services at the Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale he later went on to Terminex as a Pest Control Technician. He became a self employed Taxi Cab operator before finding his way back to his first love as a Bus Driver.
He worked with the County of Broward, shortly after he relocated to Port St Lucie and continued on with his love as a school bus driver with St Lucie County School District until he retired.

Walton is survived by wife; Tania Jack; Children, Orville, Marlon, Elease, Nicole, Christopher, Reginald and Patrick(Stepson) ;grandchildren, Shawni, Chelsea, Nicklaus, Adria, Canaan, Ryan, Reid and Bryce; brother, Neville and sister-in –law, Pamela; nieces, Sharon and Joy, nephew, Larry; grandnieces, among many other loving relatives.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida. A Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Church of the Nativity at 1PM. Burial will be at Rolling Oaks Cemetery following the service.
