Velier "Tootsie" Dotson

Velier “Tootsie” Dotson, 80, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Moulton passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Fort Pierce. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Raper Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family.
Tootsie was a member of Sunrise Tabernacle in Fort Pierce. She loved to spend time with her family and go fishing.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Dotson (Nora), Johnny Dotson (Alicia), and James Dotson; grandchildren, Alaina Dotson and Kyle Dotson.
Tootsie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Dotson; and infant son, John Leslie Dotson.
The family extends special thanks to her special friend Chris and daughter-in-law, Nora for their care and assistance.
