Vaughn A. Laughlin Vaughn A. Laughlin, 73, died June 24, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Mr. Laughlin was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Fort Pierce in 2000 from Ohio. Vaughn worked for the Environmental Protection Agency in Ohio as Deputy Director for 35 years. He loved fishing, vintage cars, grandchildren’s activities, politics, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Catharine Laughlin of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Amy (Abby Gunnels) Laughlin of Poughkeepsie, NY and Sara (Brandon) Lynaugh of Columbus, OH; mother of Amy and Sara, Sue Laughlin of Columbus, OH; sister, Cheryl (Frank) Miller of Milford Center, OH; stepdaughter, Amanda (Matt) Andres of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepson, Louis (Natasha) Goldberg of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Taryn Lynaugh and Margie Laughlin-Gunnels; and seven step-grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at The New Ocean Village Bistro 2400 South Ocean Drive Fort Pierce, FL 34949 from 4:30PM - 6:30PM.
