Thomas “Tommy” Joseph Stephens, age 71, passed away on November 14, 2020 in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Tommy was born in Brooklyn, NY in January of 1949 to Edward Stephens and Mary Meyer. He later served in the United States Army where he studied surveying artillery battery centers in Hanau, Germany from August of 1968 until August of 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Geary Stephens of Fort Pierce, FL; Sons, Brian (Colleen) Stephens of Staten Island, NY and John Stephens of Garden Grove, CA; Daughter, Anne (Mike) Papsodero of Orlando, FL; Brother, Dennis (Eve) Stephens of Staten Island, NY; Grandchildren, Brian, Andrew, Danielle, Elizabeth, and Alexandra; Nephew, Robert Geary; Sister-In-Law, Terri Geary; Sisters-In-Law, Elaine and Louise Stephens; Loving pets, Winifred and Beatrice. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Kenneke-Dym (Eddie Dym) and Maureen Stephens as well as two brothers, Edward and Robert Stephens. He was also preceded in death by his feline companions, Scarlet and Tisiphone.
Tommy enjoyed watching television and spending time with his family. His ideal day would be relaxing in his home, watching NYPD Blue, and enjoying his favorite chocolate cake with a cold Diet Pepsi.
