Thomas Arch

December 6, 1937 - April 2, 2022

Thomas Arch Tommy Arch as everyone that knows him would call him, was born Thomas Charles Arch, on December 6th, 1937. He was born in Mitchell, South Dakota to William Franklin Arch and Kathryn Morkin Arch. He passed away peacefully in his sleep April 2nd, 2022. Tommy grew up on the family farm and ranch in central South Dakota. It is there that he learned the value of hard work, and realized he was not cut out to be a farmer (much to the chagrin of his parents). Tommy was the consummate salesman. He spent the majority of his career selling cars and trucks. He had his own car lot and had a car hauling business during his career. He was always looking for the next great adventure. He loved his car businesses, his boats, and his women (not necessarily in that order). He had a tender heart for his pets. In his last years he had a special friend and roommate in Terri (Smiley) Graziano. Smiley took amazing care of our dad, and for that we will be forever grateful. She certainly had no shortage of patience. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathryn, and his older sister, Joan Stewart. He is survived by his younger sister, Sandra Vail; six children; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and multiple ex-wives… Tommy certainly lived his life “his way” and had that special Irish ability to tell a tale! In lieu of flowers, please reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while and take them out for a beer. Tommy would enjoy that. Funeral service will be Monday April 18th at Haisley Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce. With a family and friends get together prior to the service starting at 11:00AM. Funeral service will be held at noon with a reception following. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
