Terry Wayne Brumfield Sr

Terry Wayne Brumfield, Sr, 74, of Miami, Florida passed away November 18, 2021.
Terry was born October 30, 1947 in Logan, West Virginia to Eugene and Ann Brumfield. He married Charlotte Diane Allent on June 29, 1968.
Terry graduated from Miami Southwest High School and attended Miami Dade Community College before heading to Southern Illinois University. He played college baseball for Southern Illinois and held the Homerun record for the college for decades after hitting three home runs during the Junior College World Series.
After graduating from Southern Illinois, he went back to Miami to teach high school and coach high school baseball for Coral Park, Miami Beach and Southwest Miami High Schools. He was also a scout for the MLB and retired as Assistant Principal for Southwest Miami High School. He loved baseball and many other sports.
Terry was a member of South Miami Lodge No. 308 of the Free and Accepted Masons.
Terry will be remembered as a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and mentor.
Survivors include loving wife, Charlotte; son, Terry Jr and wife, Karla; grandson, Terry III; son, Robert and wife, Sheri; as well as sister, Lou Ann Mistarz. He was preceded by parents, Eugene and Ann Brumfield.
