Sandra Watts

Sandra Ann Watts of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and formerly of Orange, Connecticut, passed away Sunday, November 22 at the age of 76.

Sandra was born December 19, 1943 in Long Beach, California, to Howard Watts and Opal Wiggins.

She married Michael Forest Watts on March 20, 1960. They were happily married for 47 years until his passing on November 27, 2007. She was a bookkeeper for Bank of America; Milford Bank; and Ginsberg, Ginsberg and Alderman in Connecticut.

Sandra loved to travel and could often be found reading poolside. She was a member of the Elks Club. Most importantly, she was devoted to her family.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Tamara Jagassar and husband, Joseph Jagassar; Teresa Baker and husband, Gary Baker, and Jennifer DelVecchio and husband, James DelVecchio. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Joe and Christopher Jagassar; David, Amanda and Michael Burrows; and Casey and James DelVecchio; as well as a great-grandson, Jaxson Burrows. She also leaves behind her beloved pet, Allie.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a veterans’ organization of your choice in Sandra’s memory.

The family held a memorial in Port St. Lucie, Florida and will be holding another service in Connecticut, date to be determined.
