Samuel “Sam” H. Whisenant, 69, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away at his home on December 13, 2021.
Sam was born July 1, 1952 in Arab, Alabama to William A and Velma F Whisenant. Sam graduated from Vero Beach High School with the Class of 1970. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy.
Sam loved being outdoors; he was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He also enjoyed computers and photography.
Survivors include brother, William A Whisenant Jr of Joppa, Albama and sister, Twyla G O’Neal of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was preceded by parents, William A Whisenant and Velma F (Hyatt) Whisenant; sister, Janie B Twomley; and brothers, James E Whisenant and John C Whisenant.
Services will be held at a later date.
