Ruth Irene Tuten

Ruth Irene Tuten was born August 10, 1930 in St. Petersburg, Fl. and was a longtime resident of St. Lucie County. Ruth retired from the Martin County School District in 2010.
Ruth will be remembered as an avid fisherperson who taught many the fine art of angling. She was a firm believer that you could give a man a fish and he would eat today; teach a man to fish and he can eat forever! Sadly Ruth passed on Tuesday afternoon September the 29th. Ruth is survived by her loving sons: Wes Tuten and Don Kight of Palatka, Fl.
In lieu of flowers small donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital are requested.
