Rufina Valderrama De Salas passed away in Fort Pierce, Florida on October 25th, 2017.
She is predeceased in death by her husband of 56 years, Miguel Salas, who passed away on December 18th, 2016.
She is survived by their 7 children and their families. Arturo Salas (Mely Medina) and their 4 children: Adan, Arturo, Edwin, and Mark; and two grandchildren. Jose L. Salas (Antonia Salas) and their 2 children: Horacio and Rufina; and 6 grandchildren. Elvia Salas (Salvador Lopez) and their 5 children: Erika, Alberto, Rafael, Rodolfo, and Catalina; and 11 grandchildren. Joel Salas (Antonia Beltran) and their 2 children: Petra and Arturo; and 6 grandchildren. Irma Aurelia Salas (Gulpiano Herrera) and their 5 children: Rosi, Daniel, Lucero, Salma, and Siude; and 6 grandchildren. Ascencion Salas (Aurora Vargas) and their 4 children: Miguel, Efrain, Misael, and Mayrani. Maria Elena Salas and her children: Carlos, Theodosis, Yamilette, and JJ; and 2 grandchildren.
Rufina helped her husband in agriculture. In her spare time, she liked to sew, play Loteria, and sit outside and greet the neighbors that would pass by. She also loved fried chicken and French fries.
Services: A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 12-3 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, with a service beginning at 2 PM. Interment will take place at Panteón Municipal in Ixtlán Del Río, Nayarit, México.
