Roger A. Odom, Sr., 66, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away at 6:12 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Roger was born on December 18, 1951 in Fort Pierce, Florida to John and Doris (Keen) Odom. He graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1969 and was a lifelong local resident.
He grew up enjoying all things outdoors including fishing, sports, firearms and nature. Roger was also a diehard NASCAR fan.
He loved spending time with his family, took great pride in his two children and absolutely cherished his 6 grandchildren.
Surviving are his mother, Doris L. Odom of Fort Pierce; children, Roger A. Odom, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Jacksonville, FL, Brittany R. (Odom) Thomas and husband, Michael of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Destiny (14), Faith (12), Jayden (9), Miley (7), Cooper (6), and Andrew (3). He was preceded in death by his father John Gordon Odom.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Roger will be laid to rest at White City Cemetery following services.
