Robert Earl Hutchinson

February 25, 1956 — December 11, 2018

Robert Earl Hutchinson was given the gift of life on February 25, 1956. He was welcomed into God’s loving arms and earned his angel wings on December 11, 2018.

“It is not ‘how long’ but instead ‘how well’ one’s story is written” that says more about Robbie’s journey during this lifetime than the dates of a beginning and an end.

Born to Robert L. (Nancy) Blairsville, Ga. and Joyce Hutchinson Ft. Pierce, Fl. His early years were filled with being the younger brother to David (Connie) Hutchinson, Ft. Pierce, Fl. and Chuck (Beth) Hutchinson, Sebastian, Fl. This entitled him to be known to many in his childhood years as “Lil Hutch”. He soon became a big brother to Gail Wilson, Baxley Ga. and Cindy Saleeby (Burton), St. Augustine, Fl. He is a son that was deeply loved and a brother that can never be replaced.

Soon after high school and 2 years of college, Robbie married his high school sweetheart Frances “Frannie” Hutchinson. Although married for 42 years, whenever Robbie was asked how long they had been together his reply was always, “Not long enough.” Those three words say it all to the love and devotion Robbie and Frannie had for each other.

It was this ‘Forever and Always’ type of love that created Robbie’s greatest joy, his children. Adam (Brianne) Hutchinson, Ft. Pierce, Fl., Luke (Dana) Hutchinson, Tavares, Fl., Krystina (David) Oliver, Raliegh, N.C., Katie (Scott) Safreed, Orlando, Fl., and Jordon (Lindsie) Hutchinson, Ft. Pierce, Fl.

As a father, Robbie’s days were spent providing for his family yet always having time for coaching baseball, attending softball, football and soccer practices and games. Hunting trips, camping trips, family vacations, going to work with Dad and Dad discussions were the norm for Robbie. His children grew up and continued, even as adults, to know that their Dad always had the best for them in mind and always had their back. The life Robbie led taught each of his children to not only live life but also more importantly to enjoy it. By Robbie’s example he taught them that their love for God and family were the most important things in life. That and his love are the precious gifts that he leaves to each of them.

Robbie’s children were his joy but he always felt that his greatest blessings from God were his 11 angels. Daylyn, Caden, Colton, Westin, Remington, David John, Avery, Landon, Collin, Tristan and Ashlyn. His grandchildren completed his world. From the moment that each was born they became his world. Each night they were wrapped in his prayers for them and every moment spent with his “angels” was cherished. Through them his legacy of kindness, laughter, love and enjoying the simple things in life will live on.

Robbie’s life was filled and celebrated each day with the love of many family members, lifelong friends and friends who became family. Each individual was an important part of his journey and each were ones that helped to complete his circle of life. In Robbie’s words, “My life has been blessed “. And each of us is blessed because Robbie was a part of our life.

Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when my life is done. I’d like to leave an echo of whispering softly about the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun. Be filled with the happy memories when my life is done.
