Survivors include his wife, Carol Houser; daughters, Tammy Hearst and Tracey Brand; son, Jack Johnson, II; sisters, Jackie Adams, Kim Lancaster, Linda Hagger, Debbie Friedman, and Pam Fredrich; brothers, David Johnson and Lance Johnson; mother, Nancy Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Johnson and sister, Vickie Sudsbury.
