Richard Crowe Jr

Richard “Buzzy” Crowe, Jr., 59, passed away on 8/22/2020. He was born in Ft. Pierce, FL on 9/15/1960.

Besides racing cars, Buzzy worked for his dad at Dick Crowe Racing Parts in his younger years. He also spent many years in the produce business, selling and delivering to local restaurants.

Buzzy was a huge fan of racing, having grown up around it. Almost all of the Crowe boys in the family are involved in the sport. There was always a race car in the garage being worked on by his dad, who he idolized. His memory was incredible when it came to racing. If you watch a race with him he will tell you everything about the race car drivers, where they were from, who they raced for, info about their car, etc. He could do this with the local drivers too, even if it was 40 years ago. He was a walking encyclopedia of anything to do with racing.

Buzzy is survived by his mother Nancy Bergenroth; sisters Jeanne Bailey and Cindy Crowe; nephew Shawn Newton; nieces Kaitlyn Cerda and Kelly McSwain; great niece Kaylanah Newton; and great nephew Drew Cerda.

He was predeceased by his father Richard “Dick” Crowe Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 am with the funeral service to follow.
