Rebecca Joan Darby Lundeen passed away on August 26, 2020 at the age of 67 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Rebecca was referred to by family and friends as Becky and her grandkids called her Grammy.
She was born on May 21, 1953 in Hillsdale, Michigan. Becky moved to Pompano Beach, FL with her family when she was just a child. This is where she met the love of her life, Bruce. They married on May 26, 1974 in St. Augustine, Florida. They began a family and settled in Fort Pierce, Florida where they resided since 1976. Together they shared a true love story.
Becky loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel and take in the sights with Bruce and family in tow. She was an excellent homemaker and a wonderful cook, but baking was her specialty. Her knowledge in horticulture was vast and she had a passion for it. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary of those that she loved and always made everyone feel special. She will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include her brothers, Michael Darby of Lighthouse Point, FL and Timothy Darby of Cartersville, GA; children, Gabriel Lundeen of Fort Pierce, FL, Lisa (Gary) White of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Tyler (Emma) Temperly of England, Darby White , Luke White and Kobe White of Fort Pierce, FL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frances Darby, mother, Virginia Darby and husband, Gordon Bruce Lundeen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Lundeen residence.
