Nestor B. Tinio

May 14, 1956 — November 2, 2020

Nestor B. Tinio, born in Koronadal, Philippines, passed away in his
Port Saint Lucie home on November 2, 2020. Nestor graduated
with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Mindanao, in the Philippines. Nestor immigrated to
the United States in 1982 and lived in California for 6 years. He
then ventured off to seek new opportunities and moved to Rhode
Island. Nestor lived in Rhode Island for 16 years where he started
and operated, with his wife, Nhem Tinio, a successful jewelry
packaging business. After this time, Nestor and his wife decided
to seek further opportunities and moved to Florida in 2005. While
in Florida, Nestor and his wife Nhem, started and ran several
successful businesses. They owned and operated a successful
restaurant for several years and later on numerous dry cleaning
facilities.

While Nestor was involved with his entrepreneurial businesses, he remained a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Nestor is one of 12 siblings, who are
scattered throughout Florida, California, and the Philippines. Nestor and wife Nhem have 4 children: Joseph, Christopher, John Ryan, and Shannon. Nestor also has 2 grandchildren, Catalina and Joah. Nestor devoted his life to making sure he was able to provide for his family in the best way he knew possible. Even though Nestor spent countless hours working, he still made sure that he was able to spend quality time with his family by going on numerous family vacations, never missing a birthday, and attending and hosting family cookouts/gatherings.

Nestor lived a very simple life. When not working or spending time with his kids and grandkids, Nestor enjoyed working on cars, spending time to take care of his garden, working on various
household projects, spending time with his friends, going fishing/crabbing, and watching B-rated
action movies.

Anyone that met Nestor knew that he was a hard working, kind, loving, warm-hearted, genuine, family-oriented person. Nestor was also a selfless, humble, generous, and compassionate
person. He gave so much to his family and friends, and never asked for anything back in return.

Nestor’s legacy will be lived on through his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, friends, and all of who have been fortunate enough to meet him.

All family, friends and loved ones are invited to the Haisley Funeral at 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34947 starting at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 to pay respects, reminisce,
