Mildred Christine Coment

Mildred C. (Cole) Coment, 100, of Ft. Pierce, passed away Tuesday evening, March 27, 2018, at Emerald Health Care, Port St. Lucie.

She was born September 16, 1917, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late Clement and Christine (Metler) Cole. She had been a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1957, coming here from Albany, NY.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Hoyt C. Murphy Real Estate.

Mrs. Coment was an avid bingo player and loved traveling with her late husband, especially on cruises.

Mildred was the wife of 47 years of the late Henry A. Coment, who died in 1991, and is survived by sons, Glenn H. Coment of Ft. Pierce and Wayne R. Coment and his wife Sarah of Vero Beach; a daughter, Barbara C. Brown and her husband Howard R. of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Deron H. Brown and Jerett C. Brown both of Ft. Pierce, Tracey C. Ciardi of France and Jason W. Coment of New Port Richey; six great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 11am in White City Cemetery, Ft. Pierce.
