Merredith “Merre” Ellen Donner
Merre was born on February 7th, 1977 in Fort Pierce, FL to Gary Donner and Nellie Donner. She passed away on July 8th, 2020.
She attended IRSC (Indian River State College) and graduated June of 2020 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services specializing in abnormal psychology and substance abuse counseling. She was on the Dean’s List from 2015 to 2016 and interned with “A Road to Recovery” and “The Shores of Port Saint Lucie.” She was previously employed as an assistant retail manager.
Merre was a member of ALPHA SIGMA PHI and the Common Grounds Church, and she served as the treasurer of IRSC’s Human Service’s Club. She enjoyed karate, writing poetry, volleyball, but mostly being a loving mother to her three children.
She is survived by her mother, Nellie Donner; eldest daughter, Alexxis; youngest daughter, Aleyyia; son, Sammuel “Sammy”; and brother, David Donner. She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Donner.
Services are being held through Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL on July 18th, 2020 at 2:00PM.
