Mary Ruth Miller

Mary Ruth Miller, 75, of St. Lucie West, Florida passed to the eternal side on September 6, 2019 from pancreatic cancer with her family at her side. Born in Winston-Salem on March 20, 1944, Mary was the youngest of five children born to Carl Roberts and Stella Roberts. Married to Chuck Miller on December 28, 1960, the mother of Scott and Michael Miller.

Mary's love of travel and adventure gave her the experiences that few will ever have. Mary started her adventures with Chuck on their trip to Kansas as newlyweds, then to Europe. As they raised their family, their travels continued with sailing the Caribbean and traveling North America. Throughout their travels, Mary's warmth always made a friend along the way. She always had a kind word for everyone she met and chocolate chip cookies in the freezer for those who stopped by.

Mary is survived by Chuck, her husband of 58 years; her children, Scott Miller and his partner, Ellie Taft, Michael Miller and his wife Michele Miller; grandchildren, Lois Miller, Morgan Miller and Megan Miller; brothers, Harold Roberts, Kenneth Roberts and sister, Jo Ann Bateman.

Predeceased in death by her sister; Patricia Ann Roberts, Carl Roberts and Stella Roberts.

A Memorial Service will be held on October 5, 2019 at Haisley Tribute Center located at 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL., 34984. The gathering starts at 10:00AM and the Service will be at 11:00AM.

I lieu of flowers, please donate in Mary's memory to the St. Lucie County Shrine Club, P.O. Box 2394, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982. The funds will be used to provide services and transportation to those in need who are being treated at Shriner's hospitals.
