Mary Katherine “Mary”, “Mary K”, Johnson Comer, age 80, born 6/15/1941 in Ft. Pierce, FL passed away peacefully at her Ft. Pierce home on August 4th 2021.
Mary attended and graduated St. Anastasia Catholic School. Her 1st job was as a telephone switchboard operator, she retired after 30+ years of continued employment with AT&T. After her retirement from AT&T she then helped her husband Fred run a crop-dusting business until 2016. She was a member of the Elkettes, attended St. Marks Catholic Church, and volunteered at St. Marks Thrift Shop.
She really enjoyed home remodeling projects but also kept busy with gardening, reading, holidays with family, traveling, and helping others.
She is a very special person and is deeply loved and she will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Frederick C. Comer Jr.; her dog, Bella; her siblings, Ricky, Eileen Sammons, Jimmy "JJ" (Sue), Cyrissa (Chuck) Terra; her children, Bob (Wanda) Brewer, Clay (Kim) Brewer, Freddie (Susie) Comer, Missy (Allie) Colbath, Kevin (Kathleen) Molnar; her grandchildren, James, Matt, Kelsey, Jillian, Nicole, Bianca, Rosamaria and Dylan; and her great grandchildren, Clayton, Luke, Carson, Dakota, Brooke, Lane, Lyra and Lucas.
Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Marguerite Johnson, her brother, Donald and her grandson, Bubby.
