Maria D. Jordan, 91 of Port Saint Lucie, FL died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on November 21, 2021.
Maria was born on August 15, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Josephine Daly. Maria grew up on the Jersey Shore where she attended Atlantic City High School class of 1948. She then graduated from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital Nursing School which developed into a long lasting career as an emergency room nurse.
On July 9, 1955 she married the love her life David P. Jordan, they would eventually settle in Florida to raise their five children. Maria spent much of her retired life working as a volunteer nurse at the VIM clinic and volunteering for the St. Lucie County School District. Maria loved the ocean, traveling, painting, and most of all spending time with her family.
Maria is preceeded in death by her parents, her brother, James Daly, and her husband, David.
She is survived by her children Maria (Robert) Sabatino, Denise (Jeff) Dublin, David Jordan, Eileen (Anthony) Mitchell, and Lynn (Phil) Todd. Along with five grandchildren, Lauren (Michael) Furtah, Gregory (Christine) Dublin, Andrew Mitchell, Katherine Mitchell, and Christopher Jordan; and four great - grandchildren Quinn Dublin, Jordan Dublin, Eloise Furtah and Josephine Furtah, who were the light of her life; as well as 3 nephews, Mike, Kevin and Charles Kelly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church.
